FAQ

Questions Every Day

MBBS aspirants and career learners both. Still unsure? One honest conversation sorts it.

Is NEET compulsory for MBBS in Russia?

Yes. Every Indian student must qualify NEET before applying to any foreign medical university, including Russia — this is an NMC requirement with no exceptions, regardless of what any agent claims.

What's the total cost of MBBS in Russia?

Most NMC-approved universities work out to roughly ₹18L–₹40L for the complete 6-year program, including tuition, hostel, food, and travel — a fraction of private Indian medical college fees. Exact figures depend on the university and city, and shift with the ruble exchange rate.

Do I need to speak Russian for MBBS classes?

Classes are taught in English. However, clinical years involve real patients, so a working knowledge of Russian (roughly B1) makes a real difference — most universities include a Russian language course, and we build it into your prep from Year 1.

What happens after I finish my MBBS in Russia?

You return to India and must clear the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) before registering to practise, followed by a mandatory year of supervised internship. NExT was expected to eventually replace FMGE for foreign graduates, but NMC has deferred that rollout by 3–4 years with no confirmed date yet — so FMGE is what to prepare for right now.

How do I know a university is actually NMC-approved?

The NMC-approved list is updated annually, so a university approved a few years ago may not be current. We verify every recommendation directly before you apply — and you should always cross-check independently before paying any fee.

Is Russia safe for Indian students right now?

Indian student enrolment in Russia has continued to grow in recent years, with established Indian communities in most university cities. We guide students toward universities in Russia's interior for added peace of mind.

I only want to learn Russian for a career, not MBBS. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Many of our strongest students have no MBBS ambitions at all — they're building careers in trade, translation, tourism, or government roles. The course structure works the same way.

What happens in the free consultation?
