Built for Indian nurses who want a real career, not just a visa
Germany has a structural shortage of qualified nursing staff. If you are registered and willing to learn German properly, the door is genuinely open.
GNM, B.Sc. & M.Sc. nurses
Registered nurses with an Indian nursing council registration and a completed diploma or degree.
Experienced & fresh nurses
Both freshers and nurses with Indian or Gulf hospital experience are placed โ experience mainly affects your starting salary band.
Nurses planning long term
Recognised nurses in Germany can bring their family and build towards permanent residency โ this is a settlement route, not a short contract.
Language, recognition and employer โ under one roof
The three things that derail nursing applications are weak German, an incomplete recognition file and the wrong employer. We handle all three together.
German A1 โ B2, nursing focused
Small batches with medical and care vocabulary, patient conversation practice and preparation for nursing-specific B2 exams.

What Germany actually requires
Requirements vary slightly by federal state and employer. This is the realistic baseline we prepare every candidate for.
| Requirement | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Qualification | GNM, B.Sc. or M.Sc. Nursing with a valid nursing council registration in India. |
| German language | B1 is the minimum for the recognition process; most hospitals expect B2, ideally a nursing-specific B2. |
| Recognition (Anerkennung) | Your Indian qualification is compared with the German standard. Depending on the outcome you complete an adaptation course or a knowledge exam. |
| Employment contract | A job offer from a German hospital or care provider, arranged before your visa application. |
| Visa route | A recognition-purpose or skilled-worker visa, depending on where your recognition stands when you apply. |
| Documents | Degree and transcripts, registration certificate, experience letters, passport, language certificate โ all correctly translated. |
Where your German has to reach
B1 is the minimum for the recognition process โ but most hospitals expect B2, ideally nursing-specific B2. We train the whole ladder.
What the job actually offers
Structured salary
Recognised nurses are paid on regulated pay scales, with additional allowances for night and weekend shifts.
Family reunification
Once you are working on a skilled-worker permit, your spouse and children can join you.
Real career growth
Specialisations in ICU, anaesthesia, geriatrics and ward management are open to recognised nurses.
Path to settlement
Long-term residence becomes possible after continuous qualified employment and language progress.
Nurse placement in Germany โ your questions
Do I need German before applying for jobs?
Yes. Recognition and employment both depend on your German level. Hospitals interview in German, so we get you to a confident B1โB2 before introductions begin.
How long does the whole process take?
Language training to B2 usually takes 9โ14 months depending on your pace. Recognition, interviews and visa formalities typically add 4โ8 months on top.
What happens if my qualification is only partly recognised?
That is common and completely normal. You complete either an adaptation course at your hospital or a knowledge exam, and we prepare you for it.
Can freshers apply?
Yes. Freshers are placed regularly. Experience mainly influences your starting pay band and the type of department you begin in.
Will I work as a nurse from day one?
Usually you begin as a nursing assistant while your recognition is completed, then move to full Pflegefachkraft status and salary once it is granted.
Can my spouse come with me?
Yes, family reunification is possible once you hold a qualified employment permit. We explain the documents your spouse will need.
