Do I need German before applying for jobs?
Yes. Recognition and employment both depend on your German level. Hospitals interview in German, so we get you to a confident B1–B2 before introductions begin.
How long does the whole process take?
Language training to B2 usually takes 9–14 months depending on your pace. Recognition, interviews and visa formalities typically add 4–8 months on top.
What happens if my qualification is only partly recognised?
That is common and completely normal. You complete either an adaptation course at your hospital or a knowledge exam, and we prepare you for it.
Can freshers apply?
Yes. Freshers are placed regularly. Experience mainly influences your starting pay band and the type of department you begin in.
Will I work as a nurse from day one?
Usually you begin as a nursing assistant while your recognition is completed, then move to full Pflegefachkraft status and salary once it is granted.
Can my spouse come with me?
Yes, family reunification is possible once you hold a qualified employment permit. We explain the documents your spouse will need.
